AN/ALQ-167 Threat Radar Simulator Pods (TRS)

Introduction

The new generation of AN/ALQ-167 TRS Pods developed for NATO's Multiservice Electronic Warfare Support Group (MEWSG) represents the leading edge of Electronic Warfare (EW) technology. These versatile pods are qualified on a wide variety of aircraft

The AN/ALQ-167 TRS Pods cover the frequency range from H-Band to High J-Band. The systems can also be configured for internal aircraft installation for use on drone or RPV platforms and ground based applications.

Applications

Train shipboard operators to identify inbound radar threats in the presence of jamming (dual jamming/radar simulator operation)
Provide training during exercises by combining simultaneous jamming, threat radar simulation and chaff.
Provide training during exercises by combining simultaneous threat radar simulation in combination with tow targets.
Test and evaluation of RWR systems.
